Barbara Platte founded TRAITS in 1994 after studying textile and fashion design in Germany and has since centered her passions on the design, production and marketing of exquisite textile accessories. All TRAITS scarves are made in France in limited quantities. They are exclusively woven, dyed, printed and produced by manufacturers in Lyon, France. Each scarf is an original work designed through a research of material, color, texture and print on high quality natural fabrics such as merino wools, cashmere, silk, egyptian cotton and french linen.
